Adjusting Table Widths in the Invoice Designer
Fynlo's Invoice Designer gives you the flexibility to adjust the width of your invoice table columns. This is useful for optimizing space, preventing text from being cut off, and ensuring your invoice looks clean and organized.
How to Adjust Table Column Widths
Step 1: Navigate to Income -> Invoices from the left panel.
Step 2: In the Invoices table, locate the invoice you’d like to customize and select the corresponding record.
Step 3: On the right side of the table, click the three-dot menu (⋯) option and choose Design from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: Locate the Table Headers
In the main preview area, find the table that lists your items. The column headers are located at the top of the table (e.g., Item Name, Description, Quantity, Unit Price, Amount).
Step 5: Hover to Resize
Move your mouse cursor over the vertical line between any two column headers.
You’ll see the cursor change into a drag-and-resize icon (a horizontal line with arrows pointing left and right).
Step 6: Drag to Adjust Width
Click and hold the drag icon.
Drag to the right to make the column on the left wider.
Drag to the left to make the column on the left narrower.
Repeat this for any column to tailor your invoice layout.
Step 5: Finalize and Save
Once your columns are set, click the Save Changes button in the top-right corner of the designer to apply the new layout to the current invoice.
📌 Adjusted column widths apply only to the invoice you're editing. To reuse the same layout in the future, click “Save as New Template” to preserve your design preferences, including column widths.
