Your VAT number isn’t just for show—it helps ensure transparency with clients and compliance with government regulations. Including it in your invoices also strengthens your documentation for audits and cross-border transactions.
How to Add Your VAT Number in the Invoice Designer
Follow these steps to include your VAT or tax ID on your invoice:
Step 1: From the left-hand menu, go to Income -> Invoices
Step 2: In the Invoices table, find the invoice you want to update.
Step 3: Click the three dots (⋮) on the right-hand side of the invoice, then choose Design.
This action will open the full Invoice Designer.
Step 4: On the left-hand side panel, locate the Company Detail" section.
Step 5: Next to VAT Number, click the Edit button.
This will open the Account Settings pop-up window.
Entering Your VAT Number
Inside the Account Settings pop-up:
Find the VAT Number field.
Enter your business’s official VAT or tax ID.
Controlling the Display of Your VAT Number
To make sure your VAT number shows on the invoice:
After inputting your number, click Update Details to save it.
Back in the Invoice Designer, make sure the VAT Number toggle is turned on (blue) to display it.
Saving Your Invoice Template
Once you’ve finished:
Click
Save Changesat the top right of the Invoice Designer.
✅ Your invoice template now includes your VAT number, making each document both professional and regulation-ready.
