Tailor Your Invoice Layout to Fit Your Business Needs
Fynlo’s Invoice Designer lets you control the visibility and naming of table columns to ensure your invoices stay clean, professional, and relevant to the services or products you offer. This feature gives you the flexibility to show only the details that matter to your clients.
How to Customize Your Invoice Table Columns
Step 1: Navigate to Income -> Invoices from the left panel.
Step 2: In the Invoices table, locate the invoice you’d like to customize and select the corresponding record.
Step 3: On the right side of the table, click the three-dot menu (⋯) option and choose Design from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: In the invoice preview, locate the item table.
Click the Edit Table icon (a small table with a pencil) found above the Amount column.
This will open the Edit Table Details pop-up window.
Step 5: Show or Hide Columns

Under the Items section of the pop-up, you’ll see a list of available columns such as:

Item Name
Item No.
Description
Quantity
UOM
Account
Unit Price
Discount
Discount Rate
Tax
Amount
-
Under the Summary section of the pop-up, you’ll see a list of available columns such as:
Sub Total
-Discount
+Tax
Amount
Toggle the switch ON (blue) to display a column.
Toggle the switch OFF (gray) to hide columns you don’t need (e.g., turn off "Discount" if it's not applicable).
Step 6: Click the pencil icon next to any field to edit its label.
Enter a new label that better suits your business needs.
Example: Rename "Item Name" to "Service" or "Unit Price" to "Rate."
Step 7: After making your adjustments, click the Save button.
Your invoice preview will update immediately to reflect the new table layout.
