If you’ve taken the time to create the perfect invoice layout with your logo, columns, notes, and personalized settings, Fynlo lets you save that work as a custom invoice template. This way, you can quickly apply your preferred design again and again—no need to start from scratch every time.

How to Save a Custom Invoice Template
Follow these simple steps to design and save a reusable invoice template:
Step 1: Navigate to Income -> Invoices from the left panel.
Step 2: In the Invoices table, locate the invoice you’d like to customize and select the corresponding record.
Step 3: On the right side of the table, click the three-dot menu (⋯) option and choose Design from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: In the Invoice Designer, make your customizations:
Upload your company logo
Modify the layout, columns, and item details
Adjust preferences like QR code, signature, or payment info
Add notes, terms, and conditions
Take your time — your template will preserve all of these settings.
Step 5: Go to the top-right corner of the Invoice Designer. Click the Save as New Template button.
This option allows you to convert the current design into a reusable template.
Step 6: A pop-up window will appear. Enter a Template Name (e.g., “Standard Invoice,” “Service Invoice,” or “Client A Layout”).
Optional: Tick the checkbox to make it your default template for future invoices.
Step 7: Click Saveto finalize.
Your new template will now be visible in the Select a Theme section on the right-hand panel.
Do you need multiple templates for different clients or services? You can create and save as many templates as you need. Remember to give each a clear name for easy selection later.
