How to Change the Invoice Date Format
Step 1: Navigate to Income -> Invoices from the left panel.
Step 2: In the Invoices table, locate the invoice you’d like to customize and select the corresponding record.
Step 3: On the right side of the table, click the three-dot menu (⋯) option and choose Design from the dropdown menu.
Step 4: On the left-hand sidebar, scroll down to find the Invoice Settings section.
Step 5: In the Invoice Settings, find the Date Format field.
Step 6: Click on the current format (e.g., MM/DD/YYYY) to open a dropdown list.
Select your preferred format from the following options:
MM/DD/YYYYDD/MM/YYYYYYYY/MM/DDMM-DD-YYYYMM DD, YYYY
Once selected, the preview will update automatically.
Step 6: Click the Saves button at the top right of the Invoice Designer.
Your invoice will now reflect the new date format in areas like Date Issued and Due Date.
⚠️ Important Reminder: If you work with international clients, it’s best to use a clear, unambiguous date format like
YYYY/MM/DDorMM DD, YYYYto avoid confusion. Small adjustments like these can improve how your invoices are received and understood.
