Creating an invoice is more than just listing charges—it’s a chance to present your brand in a professional, recognizable way. With Fynlo’s design tools, you can customize your invoices to match your style, from layout and fonts to logos and signature sections. Whether you’re running a creative agency or a service-based business, a tailored invoice helps you make the right impression.
Steps to Customize Your Invoice Design
Follow these steps before generating or sending an invoice to ensure your document reflects your branding.
Step 1: Navigate to Income -> Invoices from the left-hand menu.
Step 2: In the Invoices table, find the invoice you want to update and click the corresponding row to open it.
Step 3: Click the three dots (⋮) on the right-hand side, then choose Design from the dropdown menu.
📌 This opens the full invoice designer.
Step 4: Customize Invoice Components
Customize various components of the invoice, such as your logo, company name, signature, and any specific layout adjustments.
Left Side Panel: Add or edit components like your logo, company name, and signature for a personalized look.
Right Side Panel: Adjust the design theme to make your invoice visually appealing.
Step 5: Edit the Invoice Table
Tailor your invoice table to better suit your business needs.
Add Fields: Tick boxes to include additional fields.
Rename Columns: Edit field names for clarity.
Reorder Rows: Use the up/down arrows to rearrange row order for better structure.
Rearrange Rows: Use these arrows to rearrange the order of rows in the table, moving them up or down as needed for better organization.
Table Customization: You can edit the table's order by rearranging rows and add multiple fields by ticking the checkbox for the desired field. Field names can also be edited before saving the changes.
Step 6: Save Your Design as a Template
In the top right corner, click “Save as Template”, then:
Select “Save Changes” to overwrite the current template
Or select “Save as New Template” if you want to preserve the original layout
Step 7: Enter the Template Name
Optional: Set it as your default template for future invoices
Step 8: ClickSave to apply your customized design.
