Quickly create new estimates based on previous ones with just a few clicks.
Fynlo allows you to easily duplicate or copy existing estimates, saving you time and effort when creating similar documents. The process varies slightly depending on the estimate's current status.
Why Duplicate an Estimate?
Save Time: Quickly create new estimates based on previously approved or similar projects.
Consistency: Maintain consistent formatting and details across multiple estimates for the same or different clients.
Version Control: Create a new version of an estimate without altering the original.
How to Duplicate/Copy an Estimate
Duplicating a Pending Estimate
If an estimate is in "Pending" status, you can copy it through the More Options menu.
Locate the estimate with the "Pending" status that you wish to duplicate.
Click on the three-dot menu (More Options) at the end of the row.
Select
Copyfrom the dropdown.
Duplicating an Invoiced Estimate
For estimates already marked as "Invoiced", use the dedicated Copy icon.
Find the estimate with the "Invoiced" status.
Click on the
Copyicon (two overlapping squares) next to the status.
What Happens After You Copy an Estimate?
When you duplicate an estimate using either method, Fynlo creates a new estimate with all the same details (client, line items, pricing, etc.). This new version will have a new estimate number and will typically be in "Pending" status, ready for edits before sending to a client.
