Editing Estimates in Fynlo

Make changes confidently while your estimate is still pending.

In Fynlo, you can easily make changes to your estimates, but only under specific conditions. Here’s what you need to know before editing an estimate.

✅ When You Can Edit an Estimate

You can only edit estimates that are in Pending status. This means the estimate hasn’t been converted into an invoice yet, giving you the flexibility to make adjustments as needed.

🚫 When You Cannot Edit an Estimate

Once an estimate is converted into an invoice, it becomes locked for editing. This safeguard ensures accurate financial records and prevents discrepancies between your estimates and final invoices.

🔧 How to Edit a Pending Estimate

  1. Go to Income ->Estimates from your Fynlo dashboard.

  2. Find the estimate you want to edit. Make sure its Status is Pending.

  3. Click the edit icon (🖉 ) beside the estimate.

  4. Make your changes:

    • Adjust line items, quantities, or pricing

    • Edit client details or memo

    • Update tax, discounts, or payment terms

  5. Click Save  to apply your changes.

⚠️ Important Reminder: Once you convert an estimate into an invoice, you won’t be able to make any edits. Be sure to review everything carefully beforehand.
