Importing client data in bulk helps you quickly set up or update your client database without manually entering each profile. Using the provided import template ensures your data is organized correctly and seamlessly uploaded into Fynlo.
Follow the steps below to import your clients into the system.
Step-by-Step Guide to Importing Clients
Step 1: From the left-hand navigation panel, click on Clients
Step 2: Click the Importbutton to begin importing client data.
Step 3: Click Download Sample File – Import Clients Template.
This structured file provides the exact format required for your client data.
💡 Tip: Always start with the template to avoid errors during upload.
Step 4: Populate the Template with Client Information
💡 Tip: This template ensures your data is properly organized for seamless import.
Open the template and input the required details for each client. Fields marked with 🔴 red text are mandatory:
- *First Name
- Last Name
- Company
- *Payment Term
- Phone Code
- Phone
- Billing Country
- Billing Province
- Billing City
- Billing District
- Billing Address
- Billing Zip Code
📌 The highlighted red text indicates that the field is required to be filled.
Step 5: Upload the Completed File
Return to Fynlo, then:
Drag and drop your completed file into the upload box, or
Click
Browseto select and upload it.
A progress bar or notification will confirm the upload status.
Be patient and wait for the data to fully upload before proceeding to the next step. A progress bar or notification will confirm the upload status.
Step 6: Map Your Fields
Match your file’s column headers with the system’s fields. Ensure all required fields are mapped correctly.
Step 7: Click Save to proceed. The system will check your file and validate the data.
Step 8: Handle Errors (If Any)
If errors are found:
- A toggle will appear to view the error list.
- Use the Edit button to correct errors (error messages will guide you).
- Save your corrections to update the data.
For any import-related issues, detailed instructions on how to fix errors during import.
Step 9: Confirm the Data
Once all errors are resolved, click the Confirm button to finalize the import.
Step 10: Wait for the file to be imported successfully.
✅ Success Message: You’ll see a confirmation message once the upload is complete.
Step 11: Click Back to List to view the uploaded clients.
If necessary, you can click the Return to Re-upload button to go back to the import clients page and re-upload the file if corrections are needed.
