Easily fix client import errors and keep your database clean.
Importing client data is a fast way to update or add multiple profiles at once. However, small formatting mistakes or missing details can sometimes cause errors during upload. Don’t worry—this guide walks you through how to identify and fix those errors, so your client data is imported correctly and seamlessly.
Steps to Fix Errors During Import
Step 1: After uploading your file, the system will notify you if errors are detected.
A toggle option will appear, allowing you to view the full error list.
Step 2: Click the Show Errorstoggle to see all identified issues.
Each error will display details such as:
Missing required fields
Incorrect formats (e.g., email or phone number)
Invalid data
Step 3: For each error, click the Edit button. Update the affected field based on the error details.
Make the necessary updates based on the error details:
Examples:
If the error says “Email format error,” re-enter the correct email address.
If there’s an invalid phone number or ZIP code format, adjust the entry accordingly.
Step 4: Once updates are made, click Save.
The error list will disappear once all errors are resolved.
Step 5: Confirm the Data
After all errors are cleared, click the Confirm button to finalize the import.
Step 6: Wait for the file to be imported successfully.
✅ Success Message: You’ll see a confirmation message once the upload is complete.
Step 7: Click the Back to List button to view the successfully uploaded client profiles in your client list.
Optional: Re-upload the File
If further corrections are needed, click the Return to Re-upload button to go back to the import page and upload a corrected file.
