Permanently remove bank accounts you no longer need in Fynlo
Deleting a bank account permanently removes it from your records. This action cannot be undone, so proceed with caution. If you only want to temporarily hide an account, consider marking it as Inactive instead.
How to Delete a Bank Account
⚠️ Important Rule:
Only bank accounts with no transactions can be deleted.
If the Delete option is available, it means the account has zero transactions.
If the account already has transactions, the Delete option will not appear, and the account cannot be removed. You can only deactivate it instead.
Step 1: From the main menu on the left, click Banks.
Step 2: Locate the bank account you want to remove from the list.
Step 3: Click the Delete Icon
In the Actions column on the right-hand side, click the trash can icon for the corresponding bank account.
Step 4: Confirm Deletion
A confirmation pop-up will appear to prevent accidental deletion.
To proceed, click Proceed.
Once confirmed, the bank account will be permanently removed from your records.
⚠️ Important Reminder: Deleted accounts cannot be recovered. Make sure you no longer need the account’s data before deleting it.
