Need to create a new item that’s almost identical to an existing one? Instead of manually re-entering all the details, you can duplicate an item—saving time and reducing the chance of errors.
This is especially helpful for products with minor variations, such as different sizes, colors, or configurations.
Here’s how to duplicate an item in just a few clicks:
How to Duplicate an Item
Step 1: From the dashboard, click Item on the side menu to open your full list of products and services.
Step 2: Scroll through the list or use the search bar at the top to locate the item you want to copy.
Step 3: In the Actions column to the right of the item, click the copy icon (two overlapping squares).
This opens the New Item form pre-filled with all the details from the original item
Step 4: Update the Item Details
Make any necessary changes—such as the item name, SKU, price, or category—to distinguish it from the original.
Step 5: Click Saveto create the duplicated item and add it to your list.
