Deactivating a client allows you to streamline your active client list without losing their historical data. Here’s how to deactivate a client in just a few steps:
Steps to Deactivate a Client
Step 1: Navigate to Clients
module from the left panel to view your client list.
Step 2: Use the search bar or scroll through the list to locate the client you want to deactivate.
Step 3: Tick the checkbox next to the client’s name in the list.
Step 4: Deactivate the Client
- Click on the Batch Deactivate
Batch Deactivate
menu at the top.
- Toggle the client status to Inactive from the table.
Step 5: A confirmation prompt will appear if you do batch deactivate.
Step 6: Review the details, then click Proceed
to deactivate.
Success!
The client has been successfully deactivated. Their information is now preserved, but they will no longer appear in your active client list. You can reactivate them at any time, and all their historical data will remain intact.
Why Deactivate a Client?
- Streamline Active Lists: Focus on current clients and declutter your records.
- Data Preservation: Deactivated clients retain their transaction history for future reference.
