Enable 2FA with Email Verification
Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a simple way to add an extra layer of security to your Fynlo account. You can enable 2FA using either an authenticator app or email verification. Follow the steps below to set up this added protection.

Option 1: Enable 2FA with an Authenticator App
Step 1: Go to Security Settings

- Open your User Profile Menu and select Two-Factor Authentication.

- Click Enable next to Authenticator App.
Step 2: Install an Authenticator App
- Download a trusted app, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, to your mobile device.
Tip: Authenticator apps generate time-based codes that are unique to each account, providing a high level of security.
Step 3: Scan the QR Code

- In your authenticator app, select Add Account and scan the on-screen QR code displayed by Fynlo.
You can also manually enter the key provided if scanning isn’t an option.
Step 4: Enter the Verification Code
- Retrieve the one-time code generated by the app and enter it in the Fynlo verification field.
Note: Codes refresh every 30 seconds, so enter it promptly.
Option 2: Enable 2FA with Email Verification
Step 1: Go to Two-Factor Authentication Settings
From your User Profile Menu, navigate to Two-Factor Authentication and select Enable 2FA via Email.
Step 2: Receive the Verification Code
Tip: If the email doesn’t arrive, check your Spam or Junk folder, or try resending the code.
Check your email inbox for the one-time code.
Step 3: Enter the Code

- Copy and paste the code from the email into the Fynlo verification field and click Submit.
Important Tips for 2FA
- Keep Your Authenticator Secure: If using an authenticator app, remember that your phone is essential for 2FA. Keep it secure!
- Use Unique Passwords: 2FA works best alongside strong, unique passwords for each account.
