Hi Fynlo users! 👋 We’re excited to bring you new features and enhancements that simplify how you manage expenses, attach documents, and maintain accurate client data, so you can save time and focus on what matters most.

 

New Features and Enhancements

🔍 Instantly View Line Items for Each Expense

You can now expand any expense entry to see the full breakdown of individual items, without leaving the page.

Here’s how it works:

  • Click the dropdown arrow beside the expense total to reveal all related line items

  • Need to compare details? You can open multiple dropdowns at once, no page switching required!

This is great for bookkeeping, audits, or just quickly double-checking what’s included in each expense.

 

đź“Ž Faster Access to Expense Attachments

Managing receipts and documentation is now even easier.

You can now:

  • Preview attached files directly from the expense view

  • Click the đź“Ž paperclip icon to see all uploaded files

  • Instantly upload missing receipts using the quick-access pop-up

No more digging through multiple screens, everything is right where you need it.

 

🧾 Redesigned Expense View for Better Clarity

We’ve refreshed the look and layout of the expense view to make it easier to scan, understand, and work with your financial records.

What’s improved:

  • Cleaner structure and formatting

  • Better spacing for key info

  • Streamlined display of attachments and item details

The result? A more intuitive experience for reviewing and managing your expenses.

👤 New: NDIS & Date of Birth Fields in Client Profiles

You can now include NDIS numbers and Date of Birth in your client profiles.

This is especially helpful if:

  • You need to comply with NDIS or medical billing standards

  • You’re required to display these fields on invoices

  • You want to keep client records more complete and accurate

These fields can optionally appear on your invoice layout depending on your configuration.

 

✏️ Update: Invoice Signature & Terms Are Now Hidden by Default

Previously, invoice signatures and payment terms were shown on every invoice, even when not needed.

What’s changed:

  • These sections are now hidden by default

  • You can manually enable them during invoice creation if you want to include them

This update keeps your invoices clean and focused, only showing what’s relevant.
