Keep Your Tax Settings Up to Date with Ease
Ensure accuracy and compliance by updating your tax details as your business evolves. Whether you're adjusting rates or reassigning accounts, editing tax information is quick and straightforward, helping you maintain accurate financial records across your system.
Steps to Edit a Tax Information
Step 1: From the left-hand menu, navigate to Invoices -> Taxes to view your list of existing tax policies.
Step 2: Scroll through your tax list and click the tax entry you want to update.
Step 3: Locate the pencil icon (✏️) on the right side of the selected tax. Click it to open the tax details for editing.
Step 4: Update Tax Details
You can modify the following fields:
Tax Rate (%): Adjust the tax percentage as needed.
Tax Account: Change the associated financial account.
Description: Add or revise internal notes for reference.
Step 5: Once your updates are complete, click Save to apply the changes.
✅ Success! Your edits will now reflect across all relevant modules and transactions.
🟡 Important Note on Edit Behavior
Changes Apply System-Wide: Edits will automatically apply to all associated invoices, estimates, and reports.
Review Before Saving: Modifying financial accounts may affect your accounting reports—review changes carefully.
Field Restrictions: Some fields may be locked if the tax is currently linked to existing transactions.
