Editing tax information ensures that your records remain accurate and aligned with your business needs. Follow these steps to update your tax information effortlessly
Steps to Edit a Tax Information
Step 1: Navigate to Invoices
-> Taxes
module from the left panel to view your tax list.
Step 2: Navigate and select the tax you want to update.
Step 3: Click the Edit Icon (pencil symbol) located on the right side of the tax’s name in the table.
This pops up the tax information for editing.
Step 4: Edit tax Information
Update fields such as:
- Tax Rate (%)
- Tax Account
- Description
Step 5: After making all necessary updates, click the Save
button to confirm and apply the changes.
Success!
Your changes are now saved and reflected across all relevant modules and transactions.
Important Notes
- Updates to tax information are applied across all associated modules and transactions.
- Changes to financial accounts may impact accounting reports—double-check before saving.
- If certain fields are non-editable, please make sure the tax is not linked to transactions that prevent modifications.
