Keep your tax list organized without losing historical data
Deactivating a tax helps keep your active tax list clean and manageable, without losing any historical data. This is especially useful when a tax is no longer applicable but may still be referenced in past transactions or reports.
Follow the steps below to deactivate a tax policy:
Steps to Deactivate a Tax
Step 1: Navigate to Invoice -> Taxes from the left-hand panel to access your list of tax policies.
Step 2: Use the search bar or scroll through the table to find the tax you want to deactivate.
Step 3: Change the Tax Status
Toggle the Status switch beside the selected tax to mark it as Inactive.
โ Success! The tax is now deactivated. It will no longer appear in active lists but remains in the system for reporting and compliance purposes. You can reactivate it anytime.
