If Google Drive access expires or Fynlo is unable to scan your receipts, you may need to reauthorize Google Drive. This usually happens when:
Google permissions were updated
Your password changed
Your organization requires periodic re-login
You switched devices or browsers
Reauthorizing takes less than a minute.
Step 1: Go to AI Expense Settings
Open Fynlo
Go to AI Expense
Click Google Drive Settings
This is where your Drive connection is managed.
Step 2: Disconnect Your Current Drive Connection
Click:
Disconnect Google Drive
This will remove the old, expired authorization safely.
Step 3: Reconnect Google Drive
Click Connect Google Drive again
A Google login window will appear
Sign in using the same Google account where your receipt folder is stored
Click Allow to approve the permissions
💡 You must allow all required permissions so Fynlo can read your receipts.
Step 4: Select Your Receipt Folder Again
After reconnecting:
Choose your main receipt folder
Click Save
Fynlo will resume scanning from this folder.
Step 5: Click “Sync Drive”
To refresh everything:
Click 🔄 Sync Drive
This ensures your files load properly and scanning resumes.

Fynlo opens the wrong Google account
Log out at: https://accounts.google.com/logout
Or connect using Incognito mode
Folder is missing
Make sure you selected the correct Google account
Confirm the folder is not deleted or renamed
Ensure you have "Editor" or "Owner" access
Still seeing errors?
Reboot your browser and try connecting again.
