Let the system automatically use real-time market exchange rates
This article guides you through switching a currency’s exchange rate setting back to Live Exchange Rate, ensuring the system always fetches up-to-date market rates.
Step 1: In the left-hand navigation panel, click Settings.Then, select Currency.
Step 2: On the Currency page, find the currency you want to switch to live rates.
On the right side of that row, click the Exchange Rate Setting (Clock/Timer) icon.
The Exchange Rate Setting pop-up window will appear.
Step 3: Select Live Exchange Rate
In the pop-up window:
Go to the Exchange Rate Type section.
Select Live Exchange Rate.
When Live Exchange Rate is selected:
The manual time and rate fields normally shown for "Custom Exchange Rate" will be hidden.
The system will retrieve real-time currency rates from Open Exchange Rates (as noted in the pop-up).
Step 4: Click Save to apply the change.
✅ Your system is now set to automatically fetch and use the latest market exchange rates for this currency from the designated provider.
