The Unit of Measurement (UOM) module allows you to create, manage, and standardize measurement units across your entire workspace. Whether you are tracking items in pieces, boxes, kilograms, or hours, UOM ensures accuracy and consistency in your inventory, sales, and purchasing operations.
What Is a UOM?
A unit of measurement (UOM) is a standardized quantity used to define and track product amounts. Setting up the correct UOMs ensures that all items, transactions, and reports follow the same measurement format.
Examples include:
PCS – Pieces
KG – Kilograms
BOX – Box
HOUR – Service time
METER – Length measurements
