After uploading or syncing receipts through Google Drive, you can review, edit, and save each expense record to ensure all details are accurate before finalizing them in your account.
Step-by-Step Guide
- Go to AI Expense
- Log in to your Fynlo account at manage.fynloapps.com.
- From the left-hand menu, select AI Expense Beta.
- Open the Receipts Tab
- Click on the Receipts tab to view all scanned and synced receipts.
- You’ll see details such as Amount, Pay From, Currency, Payment Method, and Reference No.
- Select a Receipt to Review
- On the right-hand side under Actions, click the dropdown arrow (˅) next to a receipt.
- Choose “Review and Save.”
- Review Expense Details
- A new window will open showing all scanned receipt details:
- Pay From (source of payment)
- Currency
- Payment Date
- Reference Number
- Expense Items (each product/service detected from the receipt)
- Verify that all fields are correct. You can click the edit icon (✏️) beside any value to make changes.

- Check Expense Items
- Review each line item:
- Item name or description
- Category (e.g., Meals & Entertainment, Office Supplies, etc.)
- Price and Tax
- Item Subtotal
- You can add more items using the “Add Another Item” button or delete any incorrect ones by clicking the trash icon (🗑️).
- Review each line item:
- Attach Supporting Documents
- You can attach additional receipts, invoices, or bank statements using Drag and Drop Files to Upload.
- Review Summary
- At the bottom right, review the Sub Total, Tax, and Total before saving.
- Save Your Expense
- Once everything is correct, click the Save button.
- The expense will now appear in your main Expenses list and be included in your reports.
💡 Tip
If the scanned data looks incorrect, check if the receipt image is clear and all text is visible. Blurry or cropped images can affect AI detection accuracy.
Troubleshooting
- Missing items or wrong amounts? Try re-uploading a clearer version of the receipt.
- Duplicate receipts? Delete any extra entries before saving.
- Can’t save changes? Make sure all required fields (like currency or payment method) are filled in.
