If you encounter errors while importing invoice data, don’t worry—you can easily resolve them and retry the import process. Follow these steps to ensure all your invoice data is successfully imported.
Steps to Resolve Failed Imports
Step 1: Review Error Details
After an unsuccessful import, download the Download Failed Data to identify specific issues. The errors will show in the import screen, like missing fields or incorrect formatting.
🟩 Tip: Common errors often include missing required fields, incorrect date formats, or mismatched data fields. Check these first.
Step 2: Correct Errors in the Template
Open the error file, make the necessary corrections, and save the updated file.
🔶Note: To avoid further errors, double-check the field requirements and use the sample template as a guide.
Step 3: Return to Invoices, and click Return to Re-upload to restart the import process.
Step 4: Map any fields if required, then click Save.
Step 5: Confirm Data
Click Confirm once you’ve reviewed the corrected data.
After a successful import, a confirmation message will appear.
View Your Imported Data
Click Back to List to review all your uploaded invoices.
