There may be situations where you want to waive the late fee for a client — either as a gesture of goodwill, due to an error, or based on your internal policy. Fynlo allows you to manually waive late fees from the invoice.
🛠️ Step-by-Step: Waive a Late Fee
Log in to your Fynlo account.
Navigate to the “Invoices” section via the left-hand menu.
Find and open the invoice that includes a late fee.
Click the three-dot menu (⋮) beside the Late Fee line item.
Select “Get Paid” from the menu.
Locate the “Waive Late Fee” button below the Amount field.
Click Waive Late Fee to remove the charge.
Confirm your action when prompted.
✅ What Happens After You Waive the Fee
The late fee will be removed from the invoice total.
The invoice summary will update to reflect the waived fee.
The client will no longer be charged for the late fee on that invoice.
📌 Note: Waiving the fee on an invoice does not delete the late fee term setup. It simply removes the charge from that specific invoice.
